This is the weblog of Sidnei da Silva, a place to dump some crazy ideas and report on the most unexpected experiences.
Sidnei da Silva is a Python hacker living in southern Brazil, nearly 100km from Porto Alegre, in a region that looks more like Europe than anything else.
Sidnei spends the great part of his days at home (when he’s not at school), hacking the most incredible variety of different subjects, from rdflib to gnome-vfs and pywin32, from the comfort of his couch whenever possible. He likes good christian music, Apple hardware, and doing things the hard easy way — from where comes his addiction for console-only tools Windows Vista.
Sidnei currently works at Enfold Systems products team, as an active developer, generally involved in installer maintenance, development of new features and general WebDAV mastering.
Sidnei is married with the beautiful Daiane since March, 2004.
Daiane is studying finished nursing technical school and loves animals. She was raised in Porto Alegre and keeps trying to convince Sidnei to move to the big town. Sidnei is studying Computer Science and hopes to graduate by mid-2007, hopefully at the same time as Daiane achieved his Bachelor in Computer Science degree in early 2008. They have a yorkshire, Bell.
